Pizza Hut app launching today for Xbox Live

Tuesday, 23rd April 2013 15:16 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Those knuckles deep in an online multiplayer session whose cabinets are bare and who just don’t have the time to go to town and get some food, can now order sustenance from Pizza Hut directly through their Xbox 360.

The way it works is you download the Pizza Hut app and browse the menu. You can even customize your pie if you like, and pick out anything you want delivered or for carry-out by using Kinect, voice commands or the standard controller.

Should you decide to make ordering pizza through your console a normal thing, you can even your XBL and PizzaHut accounts to save order history and the like.

You can find out more on the app through Polygon.

The app is available today and if place your first order before May 6, you’ll get 15% off the first purchase.

PMSL. This is the sort of bullshit you’ll be inundated with on the NextBox/PS4.

OMG! A modern day device using apps!?!?!? What’s the world coming to???

Some of you sound like dinosaurs stuck in an age gone by.

@3, Amazingly, I use my PC to order pizza, sometimes my phone, sometimes my iPad! Oh the horror!

Cool but I do prefer Dominino’s or Papa John’s ^_^. I wonder how much usage the 360 apps get outside of the popular youtube, hulu and netflix

@8: nothing to do with being a dinosaur or anti modern. swallowing every junk marketing bs corps are throwing at you to sell you more stuff (and remember, live is a paid service too) is depressing imo. it’s indeed what frightens me with the kids these days. they arent questioning things enough.

Holy shit better late than never Microsoft huh ;) Remember E3 2005 guys when Microsoft said you could be playing Halo and then pause and order a pizza? Well looks like those bastards kept their word.

Kudos Microsoft you kept your word…fucking kudos!

Is this world wide, or just another bonus for North American users?

In all fairness, a online diabetes check app, might be of more use.

@10, it’s handy, they know gamers probably order pizza. I really don’t see where this is a bad thing? Other than its Pizza Hut and not Dominos… And people will get fatter…
