Mortal Kombat spotted on Steam registry

Wednesday, 10th April 2013 06:08 GMT By Brenna Hillier

The 2011 version of Mortal Kombat has turned up on the Steam registry, as spotted by DSO Gaming, with all achievements from the console versions intact. Although it’s pretty reliable, the Steam registry is spotted with placeholders and experiments which fail to pan out – like Halo 3 – so don’t get too excited. We’ve asked Warner Bros. what’s up; a PC release seems like a pretty solid idea.

Thanks, Ausgamers.

I certainly wouldn’t mind a PC version. I was gunna get it on PS3 but then never did.

Would have rather had Halo-3 on PC tbh….. Oh well, wish I knew, I’d not buy it on xbox then….

It’s all of the win, if this comes to Steam. I hope the King of Fighters games do also appear. I’d spend so much time playing the UMs lol :D Plus, XIII with a higher resolution, framerate allowance, and AA would be simply fantastic!

Careful. I have warned about this.

Valve are trolling people by adding fake entries to the Steam registry, it’s been known about for a while, now. Some of them are tremendously obvious.
