Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix is PS Vita game, second image leaks – rumour

Friday, 15th March 2013 12:19 GMT By Dave Cook

Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix is currently in development for PS Vita, according to a fresh leak. A second image of the mysterious project has also surfaced.

Spanish online store XtraLife had the game listed as a PS Vita release for October 10, but it has now been pulled.

Luckily AGB screen capped the placeholder PS Vita artwork before it was nuked. See it here.

What do you make of the above?

Thanks AGB.

    I know people can argue about the high quality of AC series, but really this is pure milking, too many AC, the series IMO really needs a break.

    oh I also have a feeling the protagonist and the setting of the PSVita will be more interesting and more true to AC than Black Flag.

    Wow another Vita game? Ubi is stepping up for the Vita plus I heard Liberation did very good numbers so awesome for the Vita.

    @Tea,
    Liberation really did very well. In fact, 3rd party big games have done very well on vita, with Most Wanted Vita surpassing numbers of any NFS 3ds, and even poor Blops-D sold nearly 600k, which is very high for such a bad game. Liberation did 600k excluding digitals, which are very significant for vita, and Ubi was happy with its sales. So here are we with another AAA release for vita, but Sony needs more heavy hitters (4-5 in holidays) to save vita in the west.

    Good to see Vita getting more support but I’m still not buying one until they’re cheaper.

    Also wasn’t the first AC on Vita a pile of poop?

    @7 Not necessarily it launched with issues, some of which have been patched. Forced functionality, Cheap/crap multiplayer, Frame rate problems and being compared to PS3 quality (more of the reviewers fault). It is the best portable Assassin’s Creed Game yet, so it is not “a pile of poop” but not AAA quality. Now if Ubisoft truly listen to fan-feedback and fix the problems with its so called successor then it will be AAA quality.

    never been a fan of ass creed unfortunatley but will prolly pick this up at some point anyway. i just love playing games on a handheld. i am really impressed with ps+ atm as a first time subscriber. i hesitated for a long time. only downside to +: i think twice now about buying a game brandnew or just waiting for it to become a ps+ game eventually…i want the new sly game so bad but i cannot help but thinking: just wait a few months and it´ll be there for you to download. i think sony needs to adress this, making some kind of optional premium++ sub available where you have access to almost everything in the ps store by paying a sub fee. a premium rental service. i would probably pay 50 euros a month for it and i think many gamers would like that idea too. i
    already downloaded (eventhough i already played some of those games already): metal gear collection, lumines, lbp vita, uncharted ga, gravity rush, infamous 2, binary domain, mass effect 3, motorstorm apocalypse, doa 5, lbp2…i´d say 49,99 already paid off big time! really really hoping sony pushes this ps+ thing even further with ps4.

    @8 – Cool. I might give it a go one day when I get my Vita though this follow up will likely be better…
