Valve's business grew by 50% last year

Valve's dominance of the PC scene shows no signs of slowing down, with founder Gabe Newell revealing tremendous growth in the last year.

Newell made the reveal in an interview conducted after the BAFTAs last week, where he was honoured with a fellowship. He said Valve's business has grown by "about 50%" in the last year.

No further hard numbers were given on this subject, but Newell did say that than Ross, a recent Dota 2 update accounted for 2% of all Internet activity - land and mobile - when it released.
