Shackleton Crater hits Kickstarter: turn-based strategy on an accurately crafted moon
Shackleton Crater is the latest game to hit Kickstarter, allowing up to four players to create lunar bases on an accurately-mapped Moon surface. The turn-based strategy game is open for funding now.
Created by Joseph Ybarra, Shackleton Crater needs $700,000 to see the light of day, with 29 days on the clock. The Kickstarter campaign page shows off the game’s accurately-mapped terrain in action, thanks to the game’s Unity 3D technology.
Here’s a taster:

Shackleton Crater is proposed for Android, iOS, Windows 8 Phone, PC & Mac, and is said to chart 100 years of Moon colonisation.
Here’s an in-game shot to play us out. Let us know what you think below.

Thanks Strategy Informer.

I’m interested. But I’ve kickstarted so many games now that I’ve lost touch.
The fact that it has a solo mode is important. Me and multiplayer are falling out due to children and morons.

I really like the looks of it, namedropping MULE, SimCity and Seven Cities of Gold makes me take notice. But I’m trying to keep my Kickstarter-addiction to a minimum, and this one is a bit too expensive, I feel (I want the PC-version).
