Gabe Newell’s DICE 2013 talk covers cloud gaming, next-gen, and Steambox
Valve boss Gabe Newell gave a talk at DICE 2013 this week, and he said all sorts of lovely things like: the Steambox price point will be a much lower cost than many living-room devices; he talked about how he is skeptical of cloud gaming; how his vision for video games is a bit on the PC-fans side; and how the console transition is bad for gaming as a whole. That’s the take away, at any rate. You can watch his speech below.

“The PC has been the center of innovation”! Why does it take a genius to discover this!?

Really good watch Gabe is a visionary and without people like him, it would be a one show product. Think if MS hadn’t of released a console, Sony would eat all gaming sales up and innovation would be limited to one platform. PC is the future of gaming.
