Mass Effect 3: Reckoning DLC data-mined from latest update files

Mass Effect 3: Reckoning DLC has been leaked after gamers data-mined BioWare’s latest game update.

Eurogamer reports that the Reckoning files were found in a Mass Effect 3 title update patch that rolled out across all formats yesterday. We reported on the update here.

The leak was posted on the Clevernoob forums by user TSA_383, who explained that the Reckoning multiplayer DLC seems to include a new game mode that will use save date from your single-player campaign – specifically your moral choices, as well as you Renegade and Paragon point tally, plus more.

It follows an unearthed Xbox Marketplace descriptor for the Reckoning DLC, which was posted on Reddit recently. It reads:

“The day of reckoning is nigh! The Reckoning Multiplayer Expansion brings six new never before seen co-op story missions to the game and new co-op gameplay modes. It provides four new maps to conquer and hazard variations of the Earth maps.

“It also enables reinforcement packs that offer new kits for the salarians, krogans, humans and volus. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Chakram Launcher, Blood Pack Punisher and Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle).”

The weapons listed above have been added to single player, but the data-miner has found that they will also make the jump to multiplayer as part of the Reckoning DLC.

What’s your take on the above?

I think the ME3 MP is fantastic. So much additional content has been added since launch and I don’t see how anyone can complain about their real money pack purchases as it only improves your character in a team-orientated environment.

@3 Well, she’s better than the default femShep from 1 & 2, but yeah I basically agree.

Male Shep is directly based on Mark Vanderloo, who’s a model and naturally has an interesting face. Obviously Bioware put a lot of effort into replicating his facial features.
It would have been nice if maybe they did the same for female Shep too…
