One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 headed to the US

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is making its way to the US in northern summer, but only on PlayStation 3.

Siliconera reports Namco Bandai has confirmed the Vita version releasing in Japan will not be releasing in the US.

“Unfortunately the game will not be available for Vita in North American territories,” a representative said.

As the European arm’s announcement also made no mention of a Vita release, it seems fairly likely we won’t see a localisation of the portable incarnation at all.

Instead, the PlayStation 3 version will drop sometime during the summer months in both territories.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is Omega Force’s follow-up to its first, quite successful tie-in brawler.
