Blackwell dev working on next chapter, 2013 release targeted

Blackwell, the adventure game series from Wadjet Eye Games and designer Dave Gilbert is making a comeback in 2013. Gilbert has confirmed that development on the next game in the series will begin once the the iOS port of Gemini Rue is completed. Get more details below.

Asked by Gameplay.pl if he hoped Blackwell would return next year, Gilbert replied, “I hope so”, and added that the game is already in development and that an announcement should be made in a few months once Gemini Rue iOS wraps.

The series consists of The Blackwell Legacy, Blackwell Unbound, Blackwell Convergence and Blackwell Deception. The series follows Rosa Blackwell, a freelancer working in New York City who is followed the ghost of Joey Mallone, an entity that helps her solve a string of cases.
