Zone of the Enders HD Collection has launched in the UK and Europe today. Is Hideo Kojima’s mech series worth investing in again, or indeed if you haven’t played them before? Find out in our score round up below.

    Nope, I merely happen to not enjoy angsty anime with boring ‘gameplay’, clunky controls and tacky artstyles.

    I’d rather watch all episodes of Evangellion while playing Transformers.

    There’s a Voltron game on Xbla with lions and shit, tell you what even that one is more fun.

    The second game is better overall. The anime cutscenes really did wonders for the aesthetic.
    But I’m baffled as to why such old games suffer with frame rate issues just because of a slight HD upgrade though. When I played number 1 at Eurogamer it looks pretty awful really.

    How can’t you like this game, another masterpiece by Kojima! Those reviews are kinda low (yes an 8, I consider that low) but they pair with the original games’ reviews… sadly…
