Defiance's races and cultures teased in new dev diary

The latest entry in Defiance's developer diary series checks out the alien races and invented cultures featured in the shared setting utilised by the SyFy series and Trion Worlds MMO.
The shooter, which is expected April 2013, will have some sort of effect on the events of the show; it's not clear how the two will work together yet, so I don't know how much of this information will be of use to gamers. But if you're keen on the game, you're likely to be keen on the lore, and there's some pretty cool special makeup effects in here at the very least.
