Star Citizen adds cockpit decoration stretch goal

You’ll be spending a lot of time looking at your cockpit in Star Citizen, so why not kit it out with a bobble head, family photograph or hula girl?

With a new cockpit decoration stretch goal, Roberts Space Industries has promised to add all of these and more – it’s taking suggestions – should its primary funding platform reach $3.5 million. After that, every $100,000 up to $4 million will unlock a new star system.

Meanwhile, the Kickstarter campaign has accumulated over $1.1 million, bringing the combined total to over $4.1 million.

The space sim from the creator of Wing Commander has seven days left to crowd fund; it will also be backed by traditional investment. It’s expected in late 2014.

Thanks, Polygon.

If I had I would. This is the most ambitious and coolest Kickstarter project I have seen so far.
