Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney will get Director’s Cut DLC

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is hitting Japanese shores at the end of the month, and will be bolstered by Director’s Cut-style DLC sometime after its release.

Siliconera is reporting that the new content will include an unedited version of the puzzler’s narrative, along with a set of outtakes from that original script.

An extra, unedited storyline from Phoenix Wright creator Shu Takumi will be included as well, to be playable upon completion of the game.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is set to drop for the 3DS in Japan on November 29. There’s still no word on whether or not publisher Capcom plans on bringing the crossover Westward.

@2 No word on that yet, as far as I could tell. If and when I do, I’ll update.
