Pokemon fans in Japan are going to love this one. Nintendo is launching a new Charizard 3DS XL console, which comes with a rather nifty decal of everyone’s favouite fire-breathing beast. Check it out below.

Nintendo Life reports that between 3rd November and 26th November, keen gamers can register for a random lottery at Pokemon Centre shops across Japan. Winners will then be given the chance to buy the console for 18,900 Yen from December 15th to January 14th.

Shiny, no?

Thanks AGB.

    agree, the pikachu one looks great…BUT i really do prefer that this one is black on the inside as well. the matte finish on this one looks pretty in general if you ask me. will keep an eye on this and hope it´ll come to europe at some point just like the pikachu one. on the other hand. i´m totally fine with my red 3dsxl this far.

    I found charmander, future charmilion and charizard a good pokemon character, at least in the anime version his story was pretty good and he is an strong character, i like it a lot, is alongside Pikachu my favorite character in the pokemon universe, therefore i like this model a lot, too bad i cannot afford it, i recently just bought my vita at 650$ and i have to buy the WiiU which will cost a little bit more aprox 750-800$ here, so it doesnt matter how great the character and design is, right now i cannot afford it ;_;

    This is definitely the coolest 3ds I have ever seen. Unfortunately its a limited edition, hope playasia grabs 1-2 of these and then puts them on sale.
