EA hiring for new Need for Speed, Frostbite 2 powered
EA Gothenburg is hiring ‘a lot’ for what appears to be the next installment of the Need for Speed franchise.

CVG reports that a job posting on the studio’s career site reads:
“Would you like to be a part of EA? Would you like to work on a game in the Need for Speed franchise? You now have the opportunity to become a part of EA Gothenburg and fulfill those two wishes! We are hiring, and we are hiring a lot! To the right you will find what roles we’re currently looking to fill – if you feel that any of descriptions match your profile, don’t hesitate: apply now!”
Frostbite 2 has been name-dropped repeatedly among the studio’s job listings, “EA Gothenburg is a new EA studio focusing on making a new generation of games on the Frostbite 2 engine.”
What do you think? Does the timing make sense if the team is to make a new NFS game in time for next Christmas? Let us know below.

Way more NFS’s than CoD’s.
@1: A degree in physics is still useful in the games industry if you know how to code…

David Cook, seriously!
Just because EA Gothenburg is hiring a vehicle artist it doesn’t mean they are developing a Need for Speed game. If VG247 want’s to be relevant it can’t keep just reposting other sites news, with a little research and work you could probably made this to a lot more interesting by adding some context.
EA Gothenburg is new studio opened in Gothenburg.
They haven’t unannounced what they are working on.
They have recruiting a lot people and they have 14 career openings and one of them “Vehicle Artist”.
CVG speculates that the could be working on a new Need for Speed game but it could be something completely different.
Patrick Söderlund one of the heads behind EA Gothenburg confirmed that a small team was working on Mirro’s Edge 2 back in 2009. So could they actually be working and including vehicle combat to the game?
