Level-5 CEO would like to team up with Studio Ghibli on Castle in the Sky adaption
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino mentioned during TGS 2012 he is interested in collaborating with Studio Ghibli again. Speaking during an interview session, Hino said if there was a “potential opportunity” to work alongside the animation studio again – as with Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch – he would definitely like to do it. When asked what he would like to adapt, he said it would be Studio Ghibli’s first film, Castle in the Sky – the 1986 film written and directed by magna artist Hayao Miyazaki. All we have to say to that, is: yes, please. Via Joystiq.

Oh god please do this.
Though I’d prefer Nausicaa: http://www.thereticule.com/where-is-my-nausicaa-game/
Also, a superior write up about the Nausicaa games humanity did get: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/nausicaa/nausicaa.htm
