Hitman: Sniper Challenge dev considering standalone version
Hitman: Sniper Challenge started life as a pre-order incentive, but its runaway success has caused developer IO Interactive to think bigger.

Speaking with MCV, IO’s game director Tore Blystad discussed the game’s success, “People are playing it a lot. I think the No.1 player in the world has clocked in hundreds of hours so far which is completely crazy, right? We’re very happy because that’s the essence of Hitman; it is made to be replayed.”
On the subject of turning Hitman: Sniper Challenge into a full gae, Blystad responded, “Who knows? It turned out really well. If we can find a way to make it work then I guess we will.”

i actually the first time i played it i thought that this would work as a stand alone game or at least they could add to it like a new assignment with a new sniper rifle to unlock and upgrade
