Kirby fans at PAX smash world record for blowing chewing gum bubbles

Kirby turns 20 this year, and to mark the occasion Nintendo of America got PAX attendees to blow chewing gum bubbles at the same time. The stunt was an attempt to break the world record for the most number of people blowing chewing gum bubbles at once. Obviously.

They succeeded of course, as 536 PAX Prime attendees blew bubbles simultaneously in order to break the record.

Nintendo also recently unveiled a September 16th release date for Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition, compiling six Kirby games from his Game Boy and Nintendo 64 days.
