Benjamin Rivers’ Home will release on Steam this week

Home, the indie horror-adventure title from Benjamin Rivers, will arrive on Steam this week. The horror-adventure title is a murder mystery with a twist in which the player decides what ultimately happens. Released in June through the game’s official site, those who purchased the Collector’s Edition will be handed a Steam key in order to migrate their game, and all purchasers will be given updates and support to coincide with the release on Steam. Home releases on Steam August 31.

Great, now this (at least formerly) typo and bug-ridden thing will be available on Steam too…

He may very well have updated it but I’m still upset that I didn’t get as much as a “I’m on it” or even “I don’t know” when I wrote him about a crash that occurred right before the climax of the whole thing.

This for me unfortunately is an example of what indie games should not be like. Not offering a save function and then crashing right before the end AND not reaction to customer inquiries about it – I find that unacceptable.
