State of Decay is the new name for Class3

Undead Labs has released a debut trailer for State of Decay, the zombie survival project currently known by the codename Class3.

Class3, which Undead Labs has described as the "platform" on which an MMORPG nicknamed Class4 will be built, was announced in 2011 as an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive.

Since then, it seems to have been rejigged a bit, and is now headed to PC, too. Everything else sounds much the same - open world, emphasis on survival, real-time threat variance, base building, raids, and an expanding roster of playable characters with various skills. Kind of sweet, in other words.

The trailer and screens below are our first proper look at it, but there's still no word of a release date.
