Plants vs. Zombies creator George Fan is one of the employees at PopCap who have been laid-off by the company, according to a blog post on 1UP. However, Shack notes Fan wasn't involved with Plants vs Zombies 2. New broke yesterday that the EA-owned studio had made a number of cuts at its Seattle headquarters and its Dublin location and the later is also being evaluated to see if things can be improved "without having to close the operation."
