Silent Hill HD Xbox 360 purchasers to receive a free game as an apology
To compensate Silent Hill HD Collection owners on Xbox 360 for canning the patch, Konami has announced via Facebook it will give players another game in exchange. Owners of the game on 360 will need to send in their original purchase receipt dated on or before August 8, 2012 along with a request for the exchange made in writing and submitted on or before October 7,2012. The offer is valid for purchases made in North and South America. Thanks, D’toid.

Hey, the same facebook post said the xbox version fix patch is still under development. So is it canned or not?

It is probably NeverDead. I’m sure they have a mountain of it sitting in their warehouse.

Oh well, I suppose it was cheaper for them than properly working with the porting team…

@1 – Read closely. It says the patch for DOWNPOUR is still being made, not the patch for the HD Collection.

Theres a list there of the games you can request for your broken copy of the HD collection.

Thanks for the apology… doesn’t change my decision to never buy one of your games again.
