Silent Hill HD Collection US release delayed

Konami has pushed back the release date for the Silent Hill HD Collection by two weeks.

Game Informer reports the HD revamp is now expected on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 20.

The news comes out of Konami's US arm; we're chasing up the European side.

The Collection, which includes Silent Hill 2 and 3, had been expected on March 6, following an earlier delay pushing it out of January.

No reason was given for this latest setback, but it should be noted that the game is now slightly less likely to be steamrolled by some heavyweight releases during the first two weeks of March.
