Final Fantasy XIII announcements expected September 1
Square Enix has detailed its plans for a three day Final Fantasy 25th anniversary event, and according to Andriasang, will give a presentation on the future of the Final Fantasy XIII “project”. It’s not entirely clear what this means although there won’t be any more DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2 – so we may be graced with a XIII-3, if domain names are anything to go by. But wait, there’s more – maybe the publisher will finally give us some hope for the long-delayed Final Fantasy Versus XIII, or a sequel to Type-0, both once touted as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis sequence. The FFXIII presentation takes place on September 1.

Brenna : Square Enix have officially said no more dlc for xiii-2, a few months back. So hopefully this is xiii-3 or some other extension of the story.

Let me see if I can find a link for that, and I’ll update.
[update] Found one and corrected. Good spot, thank you!

Np, really looking forward to seeing what this is as I’d like the story to continue. Only made a comment as a few news sites have incorrectly said it could point to new dlc.

Final Fantasy has been ruined, just like most of Japanese Games.

Type-0 localization plans will be welcome.
Also a word of caution, there maybe riots at the event if they make the worst possible announcement there.
