Imageepoch CEO hints at western release for Tokitowa

Imageepoch CEO Ryoei Mikage has hinted that Tokitowa could eventually release in the west. Taking to twitter to answer a follower’s question, Mikage said “the project is progressing,” and that localization “contracts soon.” Like Andriasang, we’re assuming his comment means the firm is ironing out a contract with a localization firm. It’s also assumed Namco Bandai would handle publishing the game in the west, as it’s also the Japanese publisher. We’ll keep you posted.

Well, it’s not 100% that Namco would be the Western distributor. The Ar Tonelico series is released by Namco in Japan, but NISA in America, which is one of the assumptions for this title.

Still, would be kinda neat to see Namco renew their commitment to PS3 JRPGs with this, right after making the Tales of Xillia and Ni No Kuni announcements.
