Can’t say I really understand their marketing strategy here. A few underwhelming screenshots and a CGI video. That’s exciting!

@2, I think they are trying to do all that in order. First screenshots, CGI video, than something and gameplay. Classic strategy.

@3 Oh okay, they’re boring us so it’ll be even more impressive once they do show us something worth showing us
Really, there should just be one headline for that project: Company of Heroes is BACK.
Something along the lines of “Hey everybody who loves Company of Heroes, we’re still the best strategy game in town, and here’s some brilliant gameplay to show you why”.
People already know what Company of Heroes looks like, they already know it’s about a big old war that happened some 70 odd years ago, and they know it’s gonna be on the Eastern Front of that war.
Telling and showing us stuff that we’re already very much familiar with (through a Call of Duty: World at War style intro no less) is just a bit of an anticlimax. At least to me.

*Forgotten sacrifice*
*Not one image of British or Commonwealth troops*
*Manipulates figures to make it look like more Americans died than Brits*
What a silly trailer. The Eastern Front is very well remembered, not least in the places where it was actually fought. It is far more famous than, say, the China-Burma-India front, let alone something as obscure as the East African campaign.
