BBC Sports app beta available on PlayStation Network

Sony has announced a free,beta version of the BBC Sports app is available on PlayStation Network. Listed in “My Channels” of the XMB, it will allow PS3 users to stream a large amount of BBC Sports coverage, even the big ones such as F1 racing, the London 2012 Olympics, and Wimbledon. Go fire up the PS3 and have a look. The app’s beta ends June 25. Thanks, Eurogamer.

Why only sports?

I was pretty surprised that the PS3 app doesn’t allow live streaming of channels, the website does.
