Sony: “We should never say never” about a smaller and cheaper PS3
Do you enjoy your PS3 slim but wish that it was somehow even slimmer and cost even less?!
When asked by Eurogamer about a possible third revision of their console, Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Worldwide studios replied:
“We haven’t announced anything new on PS3 in terms of hardware revisions. We should never say never – hardware guys are always looking at ways to make things cheaper, smaller.”
However, Yoshida also stated that they are “quite happy with the PS3″ – so I wouldn’t expect any announcements anytime soon.
Yoshida also stated that the company has not, “really fully made use of the potential of PS Move” - so hopefully we’ll get that killer app any day now. Any day now Mr. Yoshida.

Considering the PS3 is suposed to “Last 10 years”, there’s still a few years left on it which means they’ll most certainly release a newer version to make some extra money on the PS3 before it goes out.
