IndieRoyale All-Charity Lightning pack raises $25K for worthy causes

By Brenna Hillier, Monday, 28 May 2012 07:00 GMT

The latest IndieRoyale bundle shifted 4,571 units, with net proceeds of $25,529. The developers and organisers have waived all profit from the scheme, preferring to send the cash straight to Amnesty International; UNICEF’s Haiti aid fund; the Electronic Frontier Foundation; and ActionAid. Some gamers gave over $200 for the pack of four titles despite a minimum price which hovered around the $4 mark throughout the bundle’s lifetime. Well done to all who contributed and participated.
