Indie Game: The Movie to be distributed through Steam
You can now pre-purchase Indie Game: The Movie ahead of its release on June 13 – through Steam. It seems to be the first movie the digital distribution service has offered, which hints at bold and completely speculative things. The crowd-funded documentary features Team Meat, Jonathan Blow, and Polytron, has met with critical praise, and even netted the World Cinema Documentary Editing Award at Sundance 2012.
Thanks, Kotaku.

I’m intersted but the price point surprises me honestly. If they’d got it under a fiver (even £4,99!) it would have surely resulted in higher revenue, as it’s much more of an impulse buy price point.

It’s 1080p so the price is pretty reasonable for a full HD film.

I never argued value for money, I argued it’d sell better with an impulse buy price point.
For example I haven’t bought it yet, I may do. I may not. At a fiver I would have snapped it up already.

The thing is it’s actually cheaper on iTunes, and an SD version is available there for £4.99
EDIT: in fact I’ve just pre-order from iTunes
Great ost too btw

You should watch and see how much of a thunderous cunt Phil Fish really is.
