Total War – The Editor modding tool now available as free Steam download

SEGA has announced the availability of the Total War modding tool. The Editor enables modders to “create their own custom maps,” for multiplayer and custom VS AI battles across Shogun 2 and its Fall of The Samurai expansion. The Editor is completely free, and accessible now to Shogun 2 and Fall of The Samurai owners via the Tools section of their Steam library. Check out shots of it below.

    LoL that is change of heart. If I am not mistaken modding for Shogun was announced to be a no-show. Maybe because we are done with DLC this happens, kudos to Sega and Creative Assembly. Modes for Rome and Medieval 2 are some of the most awesome things that can be found on the modding scene.
