Alan Wake developer Remedy has announced it’s hiring for “future generation consoles”.

“Remedy Entertainment is looking for world-class talent to work on an unannounced project targeted at future generation consoles,” reads a slide from a presentation tweeted out by studio boss Matias Myllyrinne.

Both the next-gen Xbox and PlayStation are expected to launch by the end of next year, while Wii U will launch by the end of this year.

The studio’s last major efforts for consoles was Alan Wake in 2010 for Xbox 360 before a PC release in February this year, with spin-off American Nightmare coming to XBLA in the same month. American Nightmare has now been confirmed a PC release on May 22.

On the side, its also released Death Rally for iOS and Android and consulted with Rockstar on Max Payne 3, releasing next week.

@3 As if, Alan Wake on PC was profitable within 24 hours or something and still selling loads, they aren’t going to go bankrupt anytime soon.

What does ‘hiring more people’ and ‘bankruptcy’ even have in common? Or are you just trolling?
