Croteam still working on Serious Sam 3 for 360, looking at PS3

Croteam's confirmed it's still workin on Serious Sam 3 for a release on Xbox 360 following the launch of the PC version earlier in the year, but fans are in for a wait at least.

The developer said it could be up to four months before anything on the 360 release happens.

"Regarding Xbox 360 SS3, it is in development, so we are on it since PC was released," it said in a Facebook status on its page.

"It does require time to do all kinds of optimisations, first to fit all in memory and to get decent framerate, as 360 is rather old hardware now."

On a PS3 version, Croteam added it was looking at the possibility.

"We will then see what can be done with PS3, as it has 256MB+256MB memory specs, which programmers here rpcomment as even more programming and optimisation work to get it right."
