Konami to patch Silent Hill HD Collection and Downpour

Konami has announced it will release patches for both Silent Hill Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection. Both patches are currently in development and will be “released soon.” The firm made special note that frame rate issues, the audio-synching in Silent Hill HD Collection, and the Auto-Save issues in Silent Hill Downpour will be fixed. Patches will be made available on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

If the patch isn’t like 1 Gb or 2… it’s not fixing ANYTHING on Silent Hill HD Collection as it is BROKEN AS HELL.

Yep its gonna take a hell of alot of fixing.

Im not sure that its even possible to “fix” what they did to the HD Collection.

#2 my thought’s as well. The fog in the free roam portions is just horrendous, and I dunno if they can patch that out.

Yeah, from what i gather, the only way they can really fix this is by outright remaking it. The whole thing is a disaster, well, at least SH2 is.

Even if it did work though, i’m not touching it without a third game in the pack, either SH4 or a HD version of Origins. Their choice of only two games is as lazy as the ports themselves.
