Shady things happening within Dubai in new Spec Ops: The Line trailer
2K’s released a new narrative-focussed trailer for Spec Ops: The Line ahead of its summer release, showing a clearer indication of what players will get into in Dubai.

I really want to like this game but the shooting and gameplay feel really generic and boring. It’s a shame because the setting, the story and some of themes shown here are rather unique and exciting.

I hope it’s not as much of an Apocalypse Now ripoff as it comes off in these trailers, but yeah, the gameplay looks pretty standardized.

@1: Dev isn’t new, their last released game came out in 2003, though (Yager on Xbox).

I’m with everyone here, hope this isn’t a disappointment as well. As far as gameplay is concerned, I can’t help but ask to anyone here, what’d you expect? It’s a squad based shooter, and tactics are usually pretty straight forward in any squad based shooter. The gameplay feels to fit very well, and I again this isn’t a disappointment. Give me something good to play in the summer, along with my Mass Effect catch-up (2&3 on my PS3), the new Battlefield 3 dlc, StarHawk, and Max Payne 3.
