Dishonored footage gets first public outing alongside new screens

GameSpot’s gone live with an interview with Arkane’s Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio that shows with it the first public airing of footage from Dishonored. The video, which has since gone private, also shows what we think are new screens. The video should be back shortly.

Dishonored’s due this year on PS3, 360 and PC.

For what it’s worth, the footage isn’t *too* exciting. It’s just a brief glimpse into the world. However, the game does look smack dab awesome from when I seen it at gamescom. It was my game of the show, actually. I can’t wait to see it again whenever that is.

It’s back in now. The old interview video was cut short, it seems. There’s an extra three minutes there now.

I will give it a try…its Arkane Studio first title after dark messiah. And Arx Fatalities wasnt that bad.
It looks like a mix of HL2 and Bioshock somehow. Maybe because they were Design Assistance on Bioshock 2.

I think they’ve got an intriguing recipe. I wait to see whether the game as it becomes clearer/seen in action, pans out. That’s where I’m not sure about it, but I’m going to reserve opinion until more about the game is known, than a concept.

Looks like they approached it with a Deus Ex-esque style of gameplay in a more Bioshock (Infinite) kind of world. Very intrigued to say the least, love this kind of game

Feels like Thief meets Deus Ex with a little bit of Victorian steampunk. In other words, Holy moly I want this NOW!
