Day 1 Studios teases a ‘return to its roots’

F.E.A.R. 3 developer Day 1 Studios is teasing a mysterious new game reveal. Oh, alright then, it’s not that mysterious; check it out through the break.

The 30-second teaser, titled Storm Warning, carries the tagline “Day 1 Studios returns to its roots”, and includes a bit of heavy stomping action.

Prior to its work on F.E.A.R. and Fracture, Day 1 was best known for its MechAssault series on Xbox.

I would love another fun to play Mechassualt game in the likes of the one they did for xbox. Still one of my fav all time MP shooters.

But I doubt it will happen. I am sure they will mess it up the same way they messed up MA2:Lone Wolf.

I know there are two Mech games being developed right now. MWT, like GW said. And another one that takes the franchise way back to its roots with sim style controls. I am not interested in that one either, tho they did claim on their website that th egame will have more user friendly control options. I just doubt it will carry the fast and furious gameplay that was MA on xb. Too much sim stuff kills the experience for me.
