PixelJunk Eden heading to Steam

Q-Games has announced that PixelJunk Eden, the third game in the PJ series, is coming to Steam.

The game originally launched in summer of 2009 for PS3, but will make its PC bow for $9.99 with the inclusion of its Encore DLC. The OST will also be available to download as DLC for $5.99.

No release date yet, though.

"Steam has always been a great platform for indie games and I have admired the way they have supported non-traditional game development with titles such as Terraria, Bastion, World of Goo, etc," said Q-Games boss Dylan Cuthbert. "We had a blast revisiting it to prepare it for Steam."

PJ Eden will also be refined from the PSN version, with the player-controlled Grimp now able to warp back to the last spot he rested. You'll also be able to save your in-game progress from garden-to-garden.

While the PixelJunk series has been PlayStation-exclusive on consoles, it's not the first time its appeared outside PS3 or PSP: a Facebook version of PixelJunk Monsters also launched.
