Rayman Origins coming to PC in March, 3DS release delayed slightly

No doubt with an innovative new experience breaking DRM.

Yup.

Ubisoft makes lots of games that are worth playing, perhaps now more than ever, but for some reason they don’t want people to actually buy ‘em on PC.

I dont see the point in making this for pc, the DRM wil scare away most potential paying costumers. So the end result wil be a game that most wil download from a torrent site…

Excellent news, I will buy it as soon as it hits Steam.

According to RPS the game will not have any DRM, maybe a one-time activation, but that seems to be it.

“Yes, Rayman Origins PC should be available on all e-shops including Steam; and no, it won’t include any “complicated” DRM

does that mean it will still include DRM?

Only an activation key for the downloadable version, the retail version will have none

how will the coop system work for PC?

It’s local only unfortunately, with 4 controllers. But it’s really much more fun with your friends right next to you!”

Rayman Origins has sold a decent amount, so I hope Beyond good and Evil 2 is going to hit the next gen (or this gen i don’t care)

@4 Were you not around for all the previous times that has been claimed by Ubisoft only to be withdrawn 5 seconds later? :P

Ubisoft are proverbial scum, they can’t be trusted to do anything they say they will.

The 3DS version of the game will now launch alongside the PC version on March 30. The post has been updated accordingly.
