Blue Toad Murder Files exceeds 500,000 premium units

PC and PS3 multiplayer mystery Blue Toad Murder Files has passed 500,000 paid units, Relentless head Andrew Eades said today.

More than 827,000 units of the game have been downloaded, the total figure including free episodes. You can try the first part of the PC version for free from the game's site.

Blue Toad Murder Files is designed for up to four players, and and follows an investigation into killings in the country village of Little Riddle.

The Brighton developer's first foray into self-publishing appeared on the PlayStation Store in December 2009, with a PC version following in late 2010.

Relentless is one of Brighton's most successful game developers, having risen to prominence with PlayStation's Buzz! quiz series.
