Kojima hints at Zone of the Enders 3-Fox Engine combo

Hideo Kojima has raised the possibility that Zone of the Enders 3 could use the Fox Engine, but reiterated that he currently doesn't have enough staff inside KP to actually make it.

"We want to make that game as well. The only thing is that we don't have staff who are able to work on that game," he said in a brief interview to GamerFitNation at the VGAs.

"We have an environment where we could work on it using the Fox Engine. If we had staff available to work on that game, we would like to."

Kojima has cock-teased ZoE3 countless times in the past two years, but this is the first occasion he's mentioned it could go with Fox, which he debuted at E3 as a multiplatform effort for his next proper game.

He said at TGS the game was in development at one point, but that he still intends to go ahead with it in the future.

Until then, there's the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, due some point next year for PS3, 360 and Vita.
