Uncharted: Golden Abyss Japanese trailer makes us wildly envious

This Japanese trailer for Uncharted: Golden Abyss shows off some of the game's touch controls as well as outlining some plot - probably.

The game is actually a series prequel, taking place before Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Who are these people? What are they doing? Why didn't I pay more attention in language class instead of idly sketching pictures of my philosophy tutor?

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a launch title for the PlayStation Vita, which hits Japan on December 17 and the West on February 22. If you want to import an English copy of the game ahead of Western release, you should chase the Hong Kong release.
