New Saints Row: The Third trailer parodies Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3
A new trailer has appeared for upcoming sandbox Saints Row: The Third, poking fun at Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3.
The beginning of the trailer’s been done in a similar fashion to the announcement trailers for Activision’s upcoming juggernaut and features tanks, jets, and all sorts of other high adrenaline stuff.
It ends in a similar fashion to Battlefield 3′s trailers, with the familiar tune playing in the background. It looks awesome. The game’s out on November 15 in the US, and November 18 in the UK. Watch the trailer below.

To be fair, after the countless months of DICE/EA shit-talking and the genocidal flame wars that have spread across the interwebs between CoD fans, BF fans and trolls alike, a bit of light-hearted pisstake such as this is pretty fucking refreshing at this juncture

Sadly Rockstar haven’t had a sense of humor since Bully. Saints Row and Just Cause is where it’s at. And The Saboteur, although EA whacked that squarely over the head.

Guess it’s just me, but i don’t find it funny at all. With the distortion effect from BF3 and stuff…meh. They did the same with dissing GTA IV in their SR2 trailer…sorry, not feeling it at all

@10: Really? You think so? I still think it’s too cartoony with most of the characters. Some of them are just fucking annoying. Same goes for RDR.
GTA has moved on, now Saints Row can use up the whole space of toilette humor.
