Rabbids animated series to air in 2013

Ubisoft’s announced this morning a deal with Nickelodeon to bring an animated TV series based on Rabbids. 26 half-hour long episodes will begin airing from 2013 on the channel across the world except France, with Ubisoft’s Motion Pictures studio working with the publisher’s French studios on the show. The Rabbid characters were introduced in 2006 as part of Rayman spin-off, Rayman: Raving Rabbids.

I really REALLY hope it’s a good series. Rabbids have become rather stale in recent trailers but some of their earlier short clips were simply awesome.

I really like the Rabbids, they are pretty hilarious. Hope the series will turn out good, they really need it.

Could turn out alright if Nickelodeon manage to keep the style and humour of the games.
