Crysis PSN-XBLA gets October 4 release date
EA’s announced the original Crysis for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade will launch on October 4. The game was announced earlier this month for the platforms, with just a non-specific October release and prices all confirmed. It’ll set you back 1600 MS points on XBLA and £15.99 on PSN.
Thanks, MCV.

Nice! I am a little confused though, is this being released as an XBLA title or as a Game On Demand title?

Will it have trophies? And maybe more to the point, why isn’t a game that will be more taxing on my PS3 than its successor not releasing as a boxed title? I admit that I’m a little apprehensive about this one. Something doesn’t feel right.

it seems to be a XBLA title which is a shame, only 200 GPs. If it was a GoD game it would have a £££ price and not a 1600 points price point.

Wonder If you get a Platinum trophy with this?

It’s Games on Demand, not XBLA and the price will be around 1860, just as any GOD games converted to MS Points upon checkout.

The recent Xbox 360 gameplay video from Gamespot was incredibly impressive, i’m definitely getting it. Alot of people tell me how its much better than Crysis 2, and C2 dissapointed me alittle, boring ass NYC.

Wonder if psn+ members get a discount? That’d be nice.
I’d much prefer some more pc exclusives available to download, over old ps2 classics… System Shock 2 plz? *wishs*

With XBLA, I assume their will be a trial version. I’d have to test it before buying….
