MCV‘s reporting that Fergal Gara has become managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK. Gara previously headed up the entertainment arm of UK supermarket chain Asda, as well as past experiences at music label EMI and the BBC. The site’s also saying that Philippe Cardon will become the new managing director and vice president of SCE France and Switzerland.

It follows an exec revamp at the company which took effect last week: ex-SCEE boss Andy House is now president and CEO of SCE, while Kaz Hirai has become chairman. Jim Ryan’s taken over at SCEE as president and CEO.

Hopefully the new MD can get psn eu updated properly each week like the us store. Sick of how bad mk9 and the mk arcade collection was messed up time and time again on the eu store, not to mention how many demos I have to logi to the us store to get
