Environment Artist’s profile reveal first Agent screenshots

Monday, 15th August 2011 18:39 GMT By Debabrata Nath

The profile of a former Rockstar North environment artist has revealed multiple renders for Rockstar Games’ Agent – a PlayStation 3 exclusive which has remained in the shadows since its announcement at E3 2009.

The shots show a character as well as various indoor environments from the game. Both of them clearly mention that they were made in the year 2009, so these are relatively old.

Both Rockstar and Take-Two have been mum regarding the title, and it’s unclear whether it’s still a PS3 exclusive or not.

You can view the shots below.

Thanks, Gek!

Nice find. Also, there is no way in hell that this game is exclusive. Maybe exclusive DLC or some kind of timed release.

How the HELL do you people even FIND this kinda shit?! GOOD FIND!

Looks kinda like an older Resident Evil from an alternate universe..

So these are 2009 shots…so it could very well be canned already too. Not sure what to make of these shots.

If Agent is still a PS3 exclusive when it’s unveiled, I’ll eat my metaphorical hat.

Anyone else notice the below listing in his resume link under Rockstar North Games Developed:

“ Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar Games 2011″

Interesting that the Agent release date says “TBA” while GTA V says “2011″. Go to his main page, the guy’s work is amazing.

It’s probably PS3 or PS4 exclusive since Rockstar confirmed back in the day that Sony is paying development costs, so then can afford to experiment with no risk at all (even if it flops it’s Sony money, not Rockstar’s).
Which reminds me… Are they paid by Sony.. You know, by the hour.. So they keep dragging development to ask some more from em?

Its still in dev. Trenton confirmed it at this last E3 if I’m not mistaken.

Not how it works they don’t get paid by hour they get paid by milestones so ROckstar meets a milestone they get a check otherwise they don’t get paid which makes me believe that its in development hell ie SOny isn’t paying or Rockstars not making milestones(doubtful).

@8 No one said anything about Agent last E3. The game has to be on hold because Rockstar North is the developer who is the studio that developed RDR. SOny probably put the deal on hold for whatever reason I just can’t see Rockstar missing deliverables.
