House of the Dead: Overkill: Extended Cut gets two PS3-exclusive levels

Sega’s announced that House of the Dead: Overkill: Extended Cut will get two exclusive levels when it releases on PS3 later this year. The first of these levels is called Naked Terror, and sees you play as Varla and Candy – previously NPC characters in the Wii version – as you fend off stripper and biker mutants. The second level will be announced in more detail soon. There’s more info at the EU PS Blog.

House of the Dead: Overkill: Extended Cut will get a release on PS3 on October 28.

Played the Wii version of this for the first time in two years over the weekend, is unreal.

This game is the only reason my Wii isn’t packed away in storage. Would love to get this version, but that means investing in Move.

Is Move worth it? Also, do I need all three Move components for this? I realize I probably need the Eye and the Wand, but is the Navigator required also?

I bought a Move for this game.

No, navigator is never required, you can use the normal controller instead of it if you want when game requires it(ie killzone 3). Overkill won’t though.

Excellent news, thanks :-)
The pricepoint for the “Move starter kit” is absolutely doable, even if I wind up using it solely for this game ;-)
