Ocarina of Time 3D becomes first million seller on 3DS

The Legends of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is the first 3DS title to hit the 1 million units sold mark worldwide.

The total figure stands at 1.08 million units worldwide, with 810,000 of those in the US and Europe, and 270,000 sold in Japan.

Pokemon Black and White moved 1.36 million units for the quarter ending June 30, and Mario Kart Wii moved 1.22 million units in the quarter.

3DS will receive a price drop on August 12, making the handheld $169.99. Look for Ocarina to sell even more, then.

Thanks, Gamasutra.
