Dead Rising 2 saves unlock Off The Record content

If you’ve already played Dead Rising 2, then a special bonus awaits you in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record.

Siliconera reports that Capcom’s Director’s Cut will grant those with a Dead Rising 2 save file a bonus starting costume – Chuck Greene’s jacket.

Most of those playing Off The Record are probably doing so because they prefer Frank West to Chuck, but it’s a cool jacket nonetheless. It’s not clear whether the outfit grants any extra perks.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record is a non-canonical, alternate universe take on Dead Rising 2 that asks: what if Frank West had been in town during the game’s events? Now with 30 percent more zombies.

Expect it on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early October.
